Local Area Groups of the Rough-Stuff Fellowship

If you wish to go on one of the Lancashire Group or the South Lakes Group or the Northern Peaks & South Pennine Group or the North Wales Group or another local group run(rides or events), its is advisable to contact the Area Secretary in advance, particularly if you have not ridden with a group before, to check the type of  terrain, distance and pace to expect, whether a packed lunch or a pub stop is planned, and indeed whether the run is still going ahead!

If you are not a member of the Fellowship, you are welcome to contact your nearest Area Secretary with a view to trying one of the monthly runs, after the second ride with a local group we do ask you to join!

What is the Area Secretary?

Each area group has an Area Secretary who organise the events for that group,  which are open to all members and are usually held monthly. Each Area Secretary is an elected member of the Executive Committee of the RSF and is elected  to the post at the national AGM each year.
